covid 19 information

Dear Central Family,

We wanted to let you know that we will be opening for live services on September 13! If you have not had any

symptoms and have not knowingly been exposed to Covid 19, we would like to say, WELCOME BACK!

At this time, our assemblies are limited to 50 people who are socially distanced and wearing masks, so we will have

two services each Sunday. We will have hand sanitizer and masks available for those who need them. We will also sanitize between services.

First service: 9:30 am – 10:30 am. (Hymn singing)

Second service: 11 am – noon. (Contemporary music)

If possible, we would like to avoid making people RSVP/ sign up to go to a service, so the first two weeks will be a

trial run where we see how many people attend each service and then we will adjust from there as needed.

Nursery ages 0-3 will run during the late service only (masks won’t be required for children)

Junior Worship will run during the late service only

Pre-k through Kindergarten (masks won’t be required for students).

1 st – 5th (masks will be required for students)

There will be no Sunday School yet.

In the event that we need to shut down the Sunday morning gathering because of someone being exposed to

COVID and unknowingly exposing the rest of the church or if the State of Oregon moves backwards in the phases

and we aren’t able to meet, we don’t want to be caught off guard.

We highly encourage you to have a handful of people with whom you can watch church online in your home if we

aren’t able to get together in the building.

Finally, we just want to encourage you with this: One of our values is: “We are family.” We know there are

vulnerable and immune-compromised people in our Central family. We want to do everything we can as a church

to help the most vulnerable among us feel safe and thrive inside of this family. So, we ask that you would all help

us love and care for the family here at Central by wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and frequently

washing your hands while you are here at the building.

We love you and we are very, very grateful for this church. Thank you all for your grace, love, and patience

throughout this whole process. We hope to see you in person soon!

Grace and peace!
